Looking for soft, sleepy newborn photos without leaving your house?

The sweetest time is in the first two weeks — they’re still sleepy, bendy and soft - basically little cutie pies.
The best time to book is in your last trimester, so you aren't stressing about arrangements after a sleepless night!

Photography is not my job, its my PASSION!

Home based photography - at a baby-led pace.

How I work:

I operate in Northern Johannesburg - everything between Sandton & Centurion. (Arrangements can be made for other areas)

Photography is done within the privacy of your own home

Gorgeous hi-resolution quality prints

Each baby is unique, and sleeps, feeds and poses differently - so your pictures will be uniquely yours

I bring the lights, camera and a small bag of props, but I focus on your baby, in the natural surroundings of your home.

How to prepare for your shoot

You

  • Clothing: Choose something soft and natural, with a simple texture,

  • AVOID: Big patterns and bright colours

  • Keep your hair natural and simple

  • Make up - light, the focus is on baby

  • Neutral nails if possible, don't forget to moisturise!

  • Remember you are allowed to look like a mom.

Baby

  • Try have baby awake for a while before the shoot,

  • Feed baby before arrival if possible

  • A neutral onesie is always best

  • Have a keepsake or favourite blankie that you would like in the photos

  • Keep the day calm!

Your home

  • Make the bed in the room you would like to have the photos in, and perhaps add a pillow or 2 you really like.

  • Keep the bedding plain and simple, so Baby is the focus!

  • Open all the curtains/blinds, and hide all the stuff you don't want seen (The bottom drawer is always an option!)

  • If you can keep the lived in look without chaos that's great!

  • Try keep pets calm - or perhaps put them into a separate room with their favourite toys and bed.
